Fishing the Colorado river?

Has anyone on here fished the Colorado river where it comes into lake Buchanan!? Our lease borders it and was thinking about wetting a line ! Any white bass luck?

I heard its decent up there with channel cats and blues, don't know about bass....down here by me its hit and miss on all fish, more misses than hits unfortunately ...only 1 way for you to find out

many times.always good for blues and yellows. crappie and whitebass sometimes

Sounds like you need someone to come fish it for you and let you know where the honey holes are.

the waterfall on the left if you are going up river right where it turns into lake or the one a couple miles up on the right in the cove?

i know the place well, there are caves and holes all over underneath the falls. big yellow cats there but LOTS of swimmers when it warms up. usually some pretty sweet eye candy on the boats anchored there. last time i was there it was pretty shallow with the drought

Yeah man the caves are crazy all along the creek that runs into that falls.. And yeeyee on the eye candy summertime is a blast out there.. We actually caught that yellow cat in my avatar way down the river from there.. But I was just wondering how the white bass fishing was! I want to drag my kayak out there

That looks like a very pretty ranch, are those rocks on the far right normally in the water?

I think if I was on that lease I'd be spending part of my summer with a pair of binoculars on top of that hill "scouting" for bikini activity on the anchored boats

ive seen some big axis upriver a couple miles, whitetail, turkey, and pigs everywhere. heck of a lease i bet
