    Which weed eater brand?

I'm tired of the cheap crap an want a good one that will last. My Troybuilt sucks!!!! Which is better and explain why please. Choices are Stihl, Echo or hasquavana. If left any others out please chime in. FYI it will be used at my residence to trim a small lot in a subdivision. Thanks

X2. Borrow a weed eater once. Cut it low. Spray. Spray again as needed.

I bought an Echo 12 years ago and I'm still using it.Straight shaft. I'm sure the other two brands are good also.

Echo. Only brand I've ever used in industry and personal use. I ran a landscape company in college and never had an echo fail.

Take a look at the Stihl FS90. Stihl is the largest family owned company in the world. Their HQ is in Germany, but they have a plant in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

All of Stihl's brushcutters are made in the Virginia plant. The FS90 has a solid drive shaft so you can swap out the brushcutter gearbox for a pole saw gear box should you need a pole saw. Standard warranty is 2 years for home use, but you can double it by buying a six pack of Stihl's synthetic oil mix that you mix with the fuel

I use shindawa for my business. They run just under $400. I think like $387. My guys are not the gentlest with them and they hold up well. Whatever you do get a straight shaft
