Well guys and gals I would like to vent a little. I went to a dr. appt. today and figured since I was over in the League City I would stop in at Academy. So I go to pick up some new tennis shoes and box of target .45 ammo for my CHL renewal course. I was in there for 30 minutes max, as I was walking though the parking lot a guy and his that I saw inside were out there looking for his truck. About the time I was going to say something joking to him about losing his truck, he says to me someone just STOLE my truck. I told him that really sucks, I then start to think, my luck they just broke into my truck AGAIN. Well I get up to my door and look in the window and sure enough, the center console lid was up, door unlocked, and the key lock had been punched. I walked back over to the guy that had his truck stolen and told him that my truck had been broken into as well.
This is the second time it has been broken into, first time they punch the passenger door lock and this time was the drivers door. Now I have two key locks that do not work, Ford sucks about this problem. The sorry no good *******s stole my duffle bag with extra work clothes and my case of CD's out of the console that had 50-60 CD's.
Well Webster PD showed up and started tracking the other guys truck since he had Onstar, they got it. The guys dumped it down the road in Papas Seafood parking lot. None of my stuff was in his truck though. As of right now I am out some more stuff, they never got any of my stuff back from the first time either.
Just to let everyone know Webster PD said they have had about 7-8 vehicles broken into at Academy in the past 2 days. That is crazy !!! I went inside and asked a girl at the counter if the store had any camera's outside facing the parking lot and she said NO. I said you have got to be kidding me, a multi-million dollar store doesn't have a single camera out there, she said YEP! I went over to where all of the managers were laughing and carrying on and busted their bubble. (Keep in mind I am furious about this) I asked them if they had any camera's outside and one told me yes, I told him my truck was broken into and the other guy had his truck stolen and we wanted to see the video. He tells me that ONLY Webster PD can view it, I say ok I will get the officer when he gets here. The manager then tells me, well the video is very bad and I probably wouldn't be able to see anything. I talked with the officer and he told me they only had a couple of camera's with very poor video and the rest of them are DUMMY camera's. Great no go there. I was only parked half way down the row of cars in front close to the doors.
Just so ya'll know, the camera's at Walmart (where my truck was broken into the first time at El Dorado and 45), they are only focused in on about the first few rows of the parking lot according to HPD.
