The Caracara devoured my pig

Got into a wad of pigs this weekend. Shot a decent sow (around a hundred pounds) and then dumped the remainder of my mag at the rest of the running footballs. I did a poor job marking the pig and I couldn't find it until the next day. When I went back to the blind, there were probably 20 caracara feeing on my pig-a few more hours and there might not have been anything left

The Caracaras make quick work of what they come across.

It also amazes me how quickly they can find a meal.

Is a caracara a mexican vulture? If so, they love that pork!

They are pretty tough. The ground was covered with white fur like feathers. I guess they are pretty aggressive to each other when the eat
