Are my oak tree$ ok- any tree experts??

I had 3 large oaks moved in with an 18 wheeler tree spade. 80-90 inch machine - few feet deep. They came from a local tree farm and were planted in the ground

I purchased these from a client for such a discounted price that he said he couldn't guarantee them for that price but that its same trees, same mover, same routine as trees he guarantees for the full price
We picked these 3 out of the hundreds he had and they were moved a week later

They been looking pretty good but one is really losing leaves - I am panicking a little but every live oak tree I see I notice is at different stages right now in its leaf replacement. Some have lost back and other are yellowish- These three I bought are all different right now- hopefully ok just a little shock

Any thoughts from anyone in the know or business I have over a grand invested in these 3 and want them to make it

    Here are some pics

Live oaks stay green. So they shed leaves like crazy. They should be ok. They will drop for about a week or two then be fine.

Oaks loose their leave at this time every year. Keep them watered since they were just transplanted and they should be fine.

I made a deep root water yesterday out of PVC and put holes in it and burried - don't know if that's problem or matters since few yrs old already and not container planted!

I don't see any pics but it could be a number of different things. My first guess is its probably shock. Dig down about 10-12 inches. If the soil is sludgy then you are watering too much. If its dry then not enough. In either case it would cause the leaves to drop. What kind of oak is it? Lots of live oaks are dropping leaves now. That is just natural. You could also be looking at a disease like bacterial leaf scourge or the dreaded oak wilt. Either of those is a death sentence for the tree. Oak wilt will put a live oak down in about 6 months. A red oak will be gone in 4-6 weeks. Bacterial leaf scourge is very slow and can be somewhat contained with pruning and feeding but the tree will eventually die.

All three live oaks. The best looking one I noticed has like hollow balls over it ? Is this a bacteria. Look like acorns but perfect round balls that are hollow. All three were loaded with acorns this year

I would go to a nursery, (not a box store) and get some "Super Thrive" and do a deep water treatment with it......trees do not just drop leaves unless they are stressed. I would do a super thrive treatment, I would also put some mulch around the drip line of the trees. Leaves are to remove excess moisture from the tree and when a oak drops leaves, it is placing new leaves at the saem time. I don't see that with the pictures provided. The trees could be under stress from the drought conditions and need some deep watering, not just watering the grass type of water.....

Super Thrive as stated above!! A must for new trees.

Lowes and Home depot have it. It ain't cheap but a must have.

All live oaks are dropping leaves right now. This is the time of year when they look terrible. Some turn yellow and drop, others just drop. I have about 100 in my yard and they all look bad right now. In a couple of weeks, they will look great again once the bud back out. It's normal

Mine don't look good either. They will bud again in a few weeks. Another thought, my neighbor had one planted a couple years ago. Within 4 weeks it lost all of its leaves. Shock is what the seller said would happen. It budded again and looks great now.

                              This.

Through March and April live oak trees sheds their leaves, blooms and then bud out again.
