Yup, it's out there and starting to show up from time to time. I picked up some 9mm the other day at normal price from Wally World and BPS.

I recently walked into a GM the day a shipment had arrived. They don't even bother to stock the shelves, just place the pallet on the floor in the ammo section. That in itself creates more craziness. The day I was there, I found a case of the 22 mag that I was looking for and bought two boxes. A guy saw that and took the rest of the case. I advised him that it was 22 mag defensive ammo. His response, "It will sell just as good on the web." THAT is what's creating this ammo shortage!!! I've even heard of Academy stocking clerks holding ammo back for themselves and buddies.

It was like a sceen from Black Friday with mob trying to get at the ammo.

People just need to be patient.

Just tells me that it was a purely-panic driven buying spree. Things will be back to the normal or new normal in another few months.
