All I can say folks it thanks for all your expressions of thanks to veterans. Having fought in the most unpopular war that resulted in vets being spit upon (but not me), you all are making sweet homecomings that much better.

And, to the folks that stand and salute when our national colors pass by, or the national anthem is being played--thank you. To those of you who don't even stand--as at the Friday evening Houston rodeo--well I hope you never need the military to protect you at home, but know if you do--we'll be there whether you care enough to stand or not.
