    Do Swhacker broadheads work?

I shot Muzzy fixed blades for lots of years, then decided to try expandables. I have been shooting Rage for a about three years now, they have performed great on animals, but I don't like the rattling noise I sometimes get in my quiver.(Yep, I hunt with my quiver attached) What kind of feedback do ya'll have to offer on Swhackers? Considering them as a replacement. Thanks

I am using them exclusively this year, my buddy has used them for a few years now and they have never given him a reason to change.

Yes they work, Work very well.
        Tried and time tested design.
Never had an issue with them performing as they should.

Yep. Nearly a 30 year old design.

The simple design of the Swhacker is what made me lock in on them. Thanks for the input guys.

You'll get about a 1" entrance on broadside shot. Exit will be up to which one you choose. Quartering away shots the entrance can get bigger.

                    Rattle advice from swhacker.

The blades rattle in the head. Is there something wrong with the set of Swhacker Broadheads I purchased?
No. In order to ensure that the blades open freely every time, the ferrule slot is intentionally machined with some clearance. This also ensures that the blades do not become trapped should the ferrule impact a heavy bone that will try to squeeze the slot closed. To eliminate the rattle, place some bowstring wax on the surface of both blades, close the blades, and slide the shrink band on

Like Ragin said, old design, the old Sonoran heads designed and sold by Rick Forrest out of Arizona. Been around longer than a lot of BH's on the market today. Simple design and will work and work well.

I think he was talking about the Rage's rattling, but that would probably work for a rage too... or you could replace it with a real broadhead...
