last time i spoke with keith ( less than a month ago )he said they would spot a new set up quickly.. he said he does not reccomend taking any stand, because they will spot you quickly..
he said his set up's are already set up and ready to go..

Trust Keith. He won't let you down. That is what makes KJO so much fun, it ain't easy, but it is rewarding.

I'd imagine if you took a climber and got high enough, they wouldn't spot you. Must be hunted hard.

I wore a leafy and was in the brush, also there is a lot of cactus to hide in and around. I wouldn't recommend a pop up if your hunting trails they will know something is out of place. I would take a good hunting stool and a leafy or ghillie suit if you have one. Not sure your gonna find trees too suitable for a climber. Keith will give you some ideas, I would suggest listening to him. He knows how the animals are acting and what will work best for your group. Some of his stands are on the trails already. If anyone is really looking for a ram, they frequent the hay ring blind and culdasac the most, at least while we were there.

It's not for everybody, but I (and a lot of of others) like hunting there.

To those going in the near future, go ahead and take your climber along with you. I'd suggest that you follow Keith's suggestion the first couple of sits, but if that's not working, then ask him about using your own rig. He'll work his tail off to help you get your animal, but he can't control where they go, or when they go there.

Yep, that's why it's called hunting. I just assumed that most of the setup's on any day lease places has had it's fair share of hunters/kills out of it, and the animals know where they are. I would imagine getting off the beaten path on a trail and "Ambushing" them would work best lol.

Corsicans, Hawaiians, Dahl, crosses of some others, big Catalina goats, and some little Nubian goats. Those are the ones a saw last week. The big ones run in smaller groups, not with the larger herds. Good luck.
