How difficult is CDL test?

Thinking about getting it very soon. Wondered how difficult it was for anyone?

Not too bad, hardest part is the air brakes. Getting the steps in the right order with the instructor/tester is the most nerve wracking part.

I was worried about mine but it was no problem. Hit google and do a bunch of those free practice tests, They do actually help.

It's not hard at all. They will let you take one section at a time so I read each section twice then went and took the test and passed them all the first try

Yep. It's broken into 5 computer tests then a driving test. I'll echo what was already said about the air brake test being nerve racking. Also, DO NOT HIT A CURB!!!!!! Hit a curb=FAIL.

The day I took my driving test was the first time I ever drove a tractor. Don't make that mistake! I still passed but I was a nervous wreck.

Did mine within the past month. Took all the test and actually did the driving today which was a joke in itself. If you are near, drive in Columbus.

air brakes is the hard part of the written test, and parallel parking is the hard part of the driving test.

I cannot say any of it is hard. To me the most demanding part of the test was the pre-trip inspection portion. It probably varies by test proctor though.

It's very simple to get. Did all the tests at the DMV myself the. Went through a program called cdl help out of weatherford. They trained me, showed me the air brake test, then I drove their truck for the test.

It is easy and the parallel parking all you have to do make a attempt at it. I have been pulling trailers and driving big trucks most of my life and not one time have I ever paralleled parked one but that is me.
