    Gopher control, TBH style

We have gophers pretty bad and aren't having much luck baiting and trapping. Me and my son were shooting the other day and this guy decided to surface about 10 yards out. I drew and waited for his little head to pop out and smacked him. Now does anyone have any advise on how to get rid of these guys without having to sit in the yard and hunt them. Make sure and video it. Off season is a little slow here.

We had a hound dog as a kid that hated gofers with a passion, he killed a ton of them and always left them on the front porch. But I really like the gas idea

Definitely low fence, non protein fed gopher. That being said, I'm thinking I would of given him another year..

            Oh yeah.... Great shot amigo

Im going to have to look into this gas thing. I'm bout sick of the new mounds almost every morning. This guy was responsable for three of them. After I killed him and smoothed them out they didn't come back. Every other day they would be back by morning.

You'd have to ask the ants and worms in the pasture. Nasty lookin little suckers.

I bought a elston gopher getter plow model 300 to use in my hay fields. Check out gopher getters they make a hand held unit you can use to put out the gopher bait ......I buy the bait by 50 lb bags or 45 lbs buckets......You can buy it in one lb cans for yard use.......Andy

Just be careful if you are around those holes when mowing the grass. If your cell phone rings and you pull the choke out accidently, the fumes can sink into the ground.

Very interesting. I would hate for an accident like this to happen.....AS SOON AS I GET HOME! Sometimes a person just over thinks things that are simple.
