I had a Hypertech once, and Ill never do that again. Custom tunes are way better. Thats what I got on mine now. I got mine from a company called Black Bear Performance. They are out of California, but the owner periodically flies all over the country putting on face-to-face tuning meets. I had mine done last Feb when he came down to Houston. Its a really simple process. He plugs his laptop into your OBD-II port and you just go for a drive. About 20 minutes later, you have a whole new driving experience. He can adjust shift points and control dead throttle which makes it run like a scalded ape. He can also adjust for non-stock gears and larger tires to correct your speedometer.

Again another vote for custom tune. Black Bear or Texas Speed has good tunes though your truck will be down for a few days while you ship it off. Or find a place that does HP tunes either live or on a dyno you will get the best results. I am fixing to get mine tuned after I install my cam in the next couple weeks.
