Is there a feed store in Menard?

Heading to the new lease this weekend and wondered if there is a feed store in Menard? That is the last town I'll go through before the lease.

Don't know where your going through but Id stop in Brady or Junction for feed.

Is Compton Feed still there? Seems like it was on the right coming in from Brady, and I think it was a yellow block building? We used to lease from Murph Compton.

I called them and they said the only regular corn they have is in bulk. Their bags of corn are apple scented. He said if I wanted regular bagged corn I would have to pre-order at least 1000 pounds. I guess I'll get some in Brady when we go through there.

Which direction out of Menard?

Bauer Farming Enterprises on 377 between Mason and London. I have caught him open late on Saturday before. You can always call and may be able to schedule a pick-up after hours if it is large enough. Or just have him deliver.

Thanks for the info but that's not in our travel route. We will be going through Goldwaithe, san saba, brady, menard.

I think you're right. I appreciate the feedback, I'll just get some when we go through Brady.
