What would you do

I was driving back to the house after I job, I saw a buck laying in the middle of the road. I turned around and pulled off the hiway to drag him out of the way so he wouldn't cause another accident. When I grabbed his one remaining antler, he started pawing and trying to get away. I was able to muscle him off the shoulder and tried contacting the Sheriff's office and local Game Warden. No answer.

Question: What do you do? He has a broken back and severe internal bleeding (blood from anus and mouth/nose).

I know what I did and I left a voice mail with the warden, so he knows as well.

Was the honorable thing to do. Wouldn't have been able to face myself knowing I left him there to suffer.
