    Kids getting in trouble

My a little girls is 4 now and sometimes ill catch her doing something wrong and get on to her. Well it made me think about when I was younger when I got into trouble I could never fig out how my mom and dad knew what I was doing even when I thought I was being real careful about them not finding out. But since I have become a parent myself I see know how they knew everytime and I can't believe I used to be that dumb lol anyone ever thought about this?

Yep kids don't know that sound travels and you can see them in the rear view mirror.

From the time I was ten until this very day....the older I get, the smarter my parents were/are.

I tell all my girls, especially the college aged ones, "if you think of doing something stupid, you can bet I've already done it and will probably find out about it before you even realize it's fun".

Kids are cute.....but not always super-smart.

Don't get too cocky...she is 4...it gets harder and they get smarter. I am not looking forward to my boys becoming teenagers but I sure do love them and love being a dad!

My son is 8 months old. He loves to play with my potted plants in our entry way & he knows better than to mess with them. If I don't hear his hands pattering across the floor right behind me, then I know exactly what he is doing! It's so crazy how I know but it all makes sense & all I can do is laugh (and get onto him of course.)

The old hand in the cookie jar......"no I'm not taking a cookie.". If they say it they actually believe it.
