We will be there 4/5/13 for the weekend and we already have lodging. Looking to hunt Saturday morning and that afternoon if needed. We do this yearly and the gentleman we usually use said he's only having about a 50% success rate right now and he'd rather not book anything till his critters start hitting feeders again.
Looking for an axis or fallow doe for myself. An axis buck for another hunter and the 3rd is undecided but leaning towards axis buck as well.
We usually pay $250 per doe and that is caped and quartered and $1000 per buck (plus tip for both). We really need to stay close to this rate. We have our own lodging at Neal's Lodges in Concan.
Other areas are out of the question cause this is technically "girls weekend" that my wife and friends do each year and we just go and hunt while they hang by the Frio!!
