cheap food plot?

so. with the price of sack of corn going to the same level as a barrel of oil. i started to think of a way to reduce that expense. walking around the pet section of a big box store, looking at dry dog and cat food. it hit me. food plot. picked this 3 pound bag up for 2.97 we all have some old fertilizer in a bag. 00.2 oz of that and about 100 seeds from this pack is what you see. bird seed. looks to be full of the good stuff. any hunters done this before? its just one week old. stay tuned for updates.

I have done that......inspired by the crap that grows all around the wife's bird feeders. Add a bag of all grain and some purple hull peas!!!

how far or tall did it grow? wet around the feeders? more info if you can.

Not sure if your serious, but I wouldnt do that.. No telling where they collect that seed. Id hate to see your land get covered in non-native and invasive species.

looks to be: bell peppers, both red and green. tomatos. and other vegetabales. not saying it wont work, and not saying it will. just need different input if it has in the past.
