Knife makers, what epoxy for handle?

What is the best glue or epoxy to attach mesquite handle to a blade made from a lawnmower blade? JB weld didn't work. Here is the blade I'm working with and I'm using dead mesquite. My second blade to do so its not pretty.

any 10ton two part epoxy will do the trick and you can pin it for extra stability
