What causes it to post pics sideways?

if you are posing them off your phone it is because you turned your phone sideways when you took the pic.

When I downloaded tapatalk 2 it did that every time. They came out with an update that supposedly fixed it but I have noticed in some pics it still rotates them.

Yea I downloaded tapatalk2 today ad did a test pic and it was correct. Then I posted a thread with pics and they were sideways..

I think it has to do with the size of the pic, notice it more on bigger files I post
