These are what I have full,mod,and the imp cyl choke and I would like to keep a tight pattern what is the best?

Tighest would be full,followed by modified and then improved followed by skeet...

If shooting steel shot, make sure the full choke is labeled "steel or lead".

Tubby hit a big point. Would hate to ruin not only the choke but the threads in the barrel. Not too cheap to get fixed.

Too expand, some may have LEAD ONLY, don't shoot anything but lead in a lead choke.

If its a factory full choke (came with gun when you bought it), then typically you can't shoot steel through it. I recommend an aftermarket full. And it depends on what you are hunting. Look at kicks or comp-n-choke. Like either of those.

I just bought a Remington 11-87 and bought the cokes from academy. I want a tight pattern for hunting hogs.
