    Chevy Headlights Not Working

I own an '07.5 chevy 2500HD that has been problem free until now- the headlights stopped working yesterday morning. daytime running lights, low beams and high beams all wouldn't work. (it made for an interesting trip to the boat ramp for our tournament!)

This morning, my high beams would work but the daytime running lights and low beams still aren't funcational.

Have a blown a fuse that simply needs to be replaced or is it something more complicated than that?

If part of them came back, I would first look at the relays. Maybe ye relay base has a loose connection.

could be relays but sometimes mine quit but all i do is take the bulb out clean it and make sure i connect them and hear it click. alot of times the connections lose a little spark. if it was a fuse none would work at all.

If this was any other thread, it would be "yup, your bought a *fill in the blank truck*, that's what you get!"

go to silveradosierra.com there are a bunch threads that you can look through that should help with your problem. as stated above i believe you have relay issue and those fuses are located in the fuse box under the hood

That happened on a '97 ford I used to have. It was the headlight switch. They replaced the switch and it fixed the problem.

Doesn't surprise me a bit. Chevrolet has issues with their lighting systems. My work truck 08 Silverado, a low beam would quit working and I would have to wiggle the plug, you plug the lamp into. other than that I got nothing for you.
except pay attention next time you see a vehicle coming at you with a running light out. bet its a GM!

I would guess the Body Control Module or the Headlamp/Dimmer switch.
