Contact your local TPWD office, I am sure they can get it done for you or atleast send you in the right direction!

I don't think you can get a lifetime license from walmart. They do sell yearly license for DV tho. Lifetime license has to be bought at the TPWD.

Call TPWD in Austin and they can get you going. You may can download the form off of their website, also. My son just got one for Christmas and I got his card a few days ago.

Take your ID and percentage letter to Academy, Walmart. or anywhere that sales Hunting and Fishing License and they will do everything for you. Its easier than it appears. You do have to get a new one every year.

              Thanks for your service.

I got mine and my sons through the TPWD website.

Once you have it, you can pick up your yearly licenses from any retailer. Just have to give them your name and ID.

You go through TPWD first and then once you signed up you just go wherever (Walmart, academy, ect) to get the yearly licenses

Have to go through TPWD to get it, then can print out yearly tags at wallyworld, academy etc. one of the best choices I ever made. Will have paid for itself in four more years.

Super Combos are free each year to disabled vets with a 60% or greater disability. Federal Duck Stamps must be purchased.

                          From TPWD website:

What licenses are available to residents that are disabled veterans?
The free Resident Disabled Veteran "Super Combo" Hunting and All-Water Fishing Package is available at no cost to Texas residents qualifying as a disabled veteran. Disabled Veteran means a veteran with a service-connected disability, as defined by the Veterans Administration, consisting of the loss of the use of a foot or leg, or a disability rating of 60% or more and who is receiving compensation from the U.S. for the disability. Official proof of disability (issued by the VA) must be shown when applying for this license and must state the rate of disability.
