    Whitetail rub?

Found this on the lease in east Texas this weekend... No cows with horns on place. Highly doubt an axis or elk in area unless it got loose somewhere... Is this a whitetail rub? Starts 8" of the ground and goes 5.5' highClick image for larger version

It looks like a whitetail rub but the 5.5 foot high has me doubting it.

I don't think a whitetail could rub that high. Whatever it is, I'd be trying to get a closer look!

I found a really big scrape few feet away . Biggest easy Texas rub I've personally seen

Put up a camera. Would be worth investigating! Looks like a rub to me but height is kind of questionable.

You get a cedar that size in East Texas and you got yourself a BIG mature buck.

You need a camara in that area fast and leave it alone for a while.

Update us when you get that pic I want to see it.

I would put a camera on it as well. Will follow this one. Hopefully a big buck made it!

I put a camera about 20 yards from it watching the right away down the fence line. I didn't put it directly
On the run but it's close

Even this late in the year, you make a mock scrape and p...urinate in it and he may check it out if nothing else is working or you can probably find some reduced doe urine this time of year.
