HELP : Need a Nanny

Ok so here's the situation. I have a little brother who is autistic. He is not completely helpless and can take care of himself for the most part. He is about to be 19 in March and he still attends high school. Both of my parents work full time and his daily care has been my responsibly for the last couple years. I was attending school and made my schedule fit his, but now that I'm done with school and have found a job we need someone to help us out. He basically just needs someone to hang out with him and make sure he doesn't get hurt or burn the house down. When we asked him what to do if the house was on fire, his answer was: stop, drop, and roll. He can fix his own snacks and will entertain himself on school day afternoons.
We are in need of someone that can keep an eye on him after school during the school year and during the summer while everyone is at work. It doesn’t have to be in home care, but that would be optimal for his sake. My family doesn't even know where to start on a search for a good sitter. Any help with a possible agency or company or even an adult day care type facility would be of great help to us. We also have no idea what something like this would cost us, if it’s even out there.

Thanks for the input guys and gals. I will check out that websight and we will definitely be trying to utilize the schools resources as much as we can. I'm just trying to get as much input as possible, since this is the first time we have tried anything like this.

My parents are going at it from the school side. I haven't been to an ard meeting, but my parents have, and hopefullly they can use those contacts to their advantages. My dad is out of town, and my mom works nights right now so the schedule is a little crazy. Im just trying to help them out by gatering information and doing some research. That way all of our options get explored properly before we make a decision. I think the folks at the school will be the most help, once we find the person with the right info. Thanks, and keep the suggestions rolling in.
