DaddyO, if you're able to do a little bit of shopping around to find the best prices and build the fence yourself here's what I figured for ya:

      20 rolls of barbed wire (12.5 gauge, 4 pt, 1320 ft roll) @ approx. $75 per roll= $1500.00

      528 t-posts (one post every ten feet, 1.33 lb., 6' posts) @ approx 4.50 per post= $2376.00

Bracing and gate prices depend on type of material and if you have to pay someone to weld them for you. We buy used oilfield pipe around here and weld our own braces for around a hundred bucks apiece or less (although may be higher now, we built our last fence a year ago). Fourteen foot gates were running around $130 then. I've found that alot of places will meet or beat others prices so I would get a price on 1.25 lb t posts at one place and then find another that would give me 1.33 lb posts for the same price. They'd usually make us a deal too if we bought all our materials from the same place. My husband and I have fenced around 400 acres doing most of the work ourselves (woven wire fencing) and if you have the right tools it really goes pretty quick. If you have the time to do it yourself you can save a boatload of money!

You will also need line posts or H braces every hundred feet or so...

As someone else said, make sure thats with 12 gauge 4 point american wire and have him specify exactly what he is using for corners and line posts/braces and how far apart the line posts and braces are. As in everything, price isn't always the only consideration...
