Extending a chain link fence.......quick and fast?.....

I need to extend this fence about 2' to keep a dog in. I only have one day to do it. What would the quickest and easiest way?

    Nothing to redneck

Jason, do you want to raise the height or the length? If the dog is climbing over, just run a hot wire around the top of the fence.

Cattle panels or hog panels wired to the chain link. Although that will probably not meet the "nothing to redneck" requirement.

        Longer poles.

        Raise the existing fence.

        Hog panel the bottom.

Larger posts might slide over existing to get your height. Then you would have a lot of options adding height or new taller chain link as mentioned above.

You could chain the dog and have all week.

Hot works every time it will keep the kids from climbing it

Quickest way would be: two post with Sack-crete and a chain link gate.

                  Get a shorter dog.

If your talking length add a gate but if your talking height put a window weight around the dogs neck.

My dad used to raise animals and to make the fence taller he would wire rebar to the existing poles and then add more wire to make it taller, lasted for years!

I need to raise the height to keep the dog from jumping it. I'm thinking 18" would work.
