That is a pharaoh ant; a very hard ant to get rid of.

I googled pharaoh ant. It isn't a pharaoh. These are large, probably 1/4 inch long. Pharaoh ants are only 1/16 inch long. Thanks.

OK, I'll play. How do you know that? Or better yet, how do you get rid of them?

I was a science dork when I was growing up. Played football and loved to drink beer and fight, but I was always intrigued by science. Roll peanut butter in to little balls and then roll them in boric acid. Its a powder form. Put that in corners. I dont recommend doing this if you have pets inside.

I am thinking this is right after googling them.

Agreed every carpenter ant I have seen is black, never seen a creamish colored one.
