Game cam question

I have a wildgame innovations el cheapo camera that most of the pics are just a solid black screen. Usually the first 5 or so pics are decent, and then the rest are black. Now I don't have a problem with the color black, but I want to see the critters that are visiting my feeder. Anyone have a clue as to what's going on? Could it possibly be low batteries? It uses 4 "c" cells. The battery indicator always shows 1 bar of battery power, even when I put new batteries in. I know that the first thing I need to do is get a better camera, but I'm poor and can't afford it.

check and make sure a spider has spun a web inside the camera in front of the IR, happened to me.
I was never happy with my Wild Games Camera.

I have 2 and the IR one will generally start shooting black pics when the batteries are low but every once in awhile there will be one in the middle of the other pics.

Let the haters hate, for what I paid for them they work good.
