    Nilgai Bow Hunt

    Hello,

I am new to the site, but I was just wondering if anybody had any good connections for a Nilgai bow hunt. I grew up hunting nilgai with on the La Parra division of the Kenedy Ranch with a rifle, but haven't been in 10 years or so. They are my favorite animal to hunt, as well as to eat.

I have searched the web the last few months and found a few options including the King Ranch and others that charge in excess of $2000 a head, which is out of my price range.

If you, or anybody you know, has a place that has nilgai and welcomes bowhunters, please let me know.

    Thanks

go to the public land hunting forum on here and go to the laguna atascosa threads...i shot a cow at thanksgiving with my bow and went back and shot 3 bulls and a calf with a rifle at christmas time. the archery hunt is almost a guaranteed hunt if you send or go to the office for the paperwork when the application process starts but the rifle hunt is a draw hunt. it is a REAL HUNTING situation not a show up and bam kinda hunt. the guys on those threads can attest to the experience and i will say we have one heck of a time down there. goodluck amigo and hollar if i can help

What nannyslayer said. Laguna is awesome and Santa Anna is even better!
