    Seems pointless but still impressive

Has anyone else seen this? I'll admit, the fact it can lift a vehicle is pretty cool, but I'm not sure what the point of it is. I've heard of limbs breaking but I've never heard of a riser breaking.

To not have heard about a riser breaking shows you have not been around shooting as long as I have. I have seen numerous risers break including a few machined risers!

My friend had a riser break back in the 80's and he looked like he had been beaten half to death.

Guess there isnt any to much riser flex and torque in that bow haha

I noticed when they tested the "competitor's riser," it didn't have the benefit of the limbs and cables pulling it back the other way. Not saying theirs isn't stronger, just saying they should have made both bare risers or both full bows because the limbs and cables do add some structural integrity, considering the direction they were pulling.

"The string isn't even loose".......Yeah that's because the way you are pulling would tighten the string moron....

I don't care about that stuff, but they could at least make sense.

This, and they also pulled the competitor's bow the other way. Easier to bend if already curved in that direction, basic law of physics.

I'll admit I didn't watch the whole thing. Sales pitch. No more, no less.

I've only been shooting bows for about 7 years so I'm sure there are a lot of common mishaps that I haven't ecountered yet. I wasn't trying to imply that I have a long history with bows.

That's a good point. They need to keep as many things constant if they're going to due a true comparison.
