    Dos mas coyotes

After spending lunch with the family on Easter Sunday, my nephew and I decided to see if we could scare up a coyote....We got two.

This one was kinda cool. I spotted him at about 1000yds before we started calling. He had a buddy with him that must not have been hungry. I found him in my scope and started the call. I watched him come all the way in to 250yds. He didn't get a chance to come any closer.

This one pulled a fast one on me and was at 50yds before I even saw him. My nephew Holden was trying to get my attention about the time he spotted us. I got on him as he was departing quickly. He had to stop and look back at about 150yds.....that was his last mistake.

I fully intended to call you and Rynn when I was leaving Brian's but Holden came along, so it was just a family day. I tried two of our popular spots up north.

He definately saw the first one. He didn't see the second one until we walked up on him. Think I'm gonna like the 250.

Congrats on the yotes. What kind of bipod is that on your rifle?

Your going to run out of them pretty soon at this rate.

It is a Stoney Point Pole Cat bipod. I haven't had it long but think I am gonna like it.

Same place Rynn shot his last time and that pasture east of the pit in the O. That has to be one of the best looking spots around. That is where I spotted the two and watched that one all the way in.

Not any time soon Jason. I don't know how many that makes in the year or so that I have been back here but I haven't put a dent in them yet. Kinda like feral hogs.
