The only thing bad that came from our couple of conversations is that he said "some travelling" was involved. Hopefully he and I don't disagree on how much time away from family that "SOME travelling" involves.

In this economy, you do what you gotta do. Good families can adapt and overcome those obstacles. Good luck..

In an interview process, my goal has always been to secure the job offer. Once you have the offer, you have more leverage to negotiate the final terms. You don't need to hammer out every detail until you know they want you for the job. If you can't come to terms after the offer, you can always pass on the job.

I understand what you mean though I took a promotion a year ago that involved "some travel" but we have been able to make it work, we have to continue to pray about the decesion all the time but God has provided us the strenght thus far, and with Skype and facetime, being away from home isn't as bad as it used to be, get to see my kids on a regular basis.
