The south side of the 1960 bridge to the power lines has always been a good jugging spot.
My dad use to have a place in Spanish cove and we spent many days on Lake Houston.

There are no catfish on Lake Houston. Especially not catfish that are catchable on jugs.

We caught one and they took off with 3 of our jugs. My buddy didn't put reflector tape on the jugs so we couldn't find them

Although, he was in the boat. I think to official weight was 65.4, bluecat on rod and reel, 12lb test.
