Any thoughts on the Rocky men's 15" prowler snake boot? The bps reviews have a few complaints about the side zipper being bad, and a few saying they are not waterproof as advertised. Still a large percentage like them and recommend. I don't put a lot of faith in the reviews from their site. Have any of you active hunters worn them? I am looking for a non-insulated hunting boot for summer and early season, the snake proofing is just a bonus but seems to be a good thing to have.

I like mine..but I can't tuck my pants legs into them... calves to big...no issues with the zipper....rub them with soap every now and then... -
ok thanks. Good idea on the soap. I recall a few mentioning the calf problem. I don't think it will be a big issue with me. I may try them, seem as good as any and the reg ol rubber boots I have now have just about seen their last days. Thanks again.Comment
