    Ok guys it was the ECM (engine control mod) in the distributor. Replaced it and fired right up with just a bump of the key. Thanx for the input guys.

        Also check your battery connections and chassis grounds! I've had problems with both. The chassis ground took a bit to figure out.... The cable that ran from the battery to the frame was my issue. Where it was grounded to the frame was loose and everytime I went to crank it nothing would happen. However it had enough ground to allow the lights and stuff to work.

        The rotor under the distributer cap allow the truck to crank but no spark so it won't ever fire.
