All wild hogs make beds out of whatever is in the area. I have seen 20 or more bedded up in a large area at one time. They all have seperate beds.

That's good stuff right there! Makes my blood pump! Next time take a dip net and a gun just in case...Take those little ones to a round pen and start working pups.

So, do they reuse the same nest, will sows use each other's nests, or are they a one-time use thing?

This wasn't a bed. It was a actual "nest". She had pulled weeds from a near-by dried up beaver pond, placed them in a complete circle.
When we came back later in the day, I didn't see any of the piglets. Figure they had done "flew the coop" so to speak. Then the grass started moving and one popped his little head out. They had all crawled under the grass!!!
Little scary at first, but pretty cool find.
