A buddy of mine has an Invasion that we noticed the paint cracked a few weeks after he bought it.

Sometimes they will, sometimes they won't. I've got 2 invasions and one of them has a little paint chipping but the other has none.

Love the bow though. It's a shooter.

Does it affect the bow in anyway? Except cosmetically?

Nope. Just paint flaking. The surface underneath the paint is brite white with a high gloss shine. I'm not sure that there is much that is going to stick to such a shiney slick surface. Going to send mine back in a few weeks.

If you the original owner; take it to your dealer. Mine was taken care of in less than two weeks. From call to BT to finished new limbs. Great customer service.

There was a thread about a month ago about the insanity's chipping. I believe they said they would warranty them and that the problem was fixed. I hope this is true because I am buying one this summer.

Do it. I love mine paint flaking and all. It is a bad machine.

I am the original owner. My pro shop said it's not a problem to get BT to fix it. Still hunting with it. Hogs.
