Axis/Cottonseed

will Axis eat cottonseed? If so, does anyone have any pictures of them eating it?

I've seen them eat cottonseed meal. Sorry no pictures though.

I have never been on a place that fed cottonseed in the same pasture as axis but I see no reason why they wouldn't eat it. It's just gonna be a matter of them getting used to it, just like whitetail. We spray a sweet attractant on the cottonseed once it is in the baskets and it seems to help, you can also mix corn in with it just be aware that hogs may destroy your basket trying to get to the corn

The axis at my place go wild for chaffhaye. Nothing else, including alfalfa have little affect.
