Adopted this guy last week. Roughly 8 months old. He's AWESOME. Consistency and early training are key. Socialization with people and other dogs are ESSENTIAL from the beginning. They are extreme people pleaders with their family.

Best dog my buddy and I ever had was an American bulldog! Hog dog. Trained really easy and was a force in the trees. He was great with his lil sisters and would get down to business when were hunting. Sold him and the idiot who bought got him killed o the 1st hunt.

Seen that dog run down a 60lb pig like it was standing still. Super athletic.

Pitbull is a slang for the breed. American Stafford Terrier is the real name for a pit.

I believe that is incorrect. Could be wrong but I don't think so.

Thanks for not slamming the breed

The AmBully is a product of selective breeding of the American Pit Bull Terrier to achieve a desired size and build, which is why they are still registered as APBT. The AmBully is only recently becoming a "breed" of sorts, and is not highly recognized by kennel clubs due to the fact that they are still truly a pit bull. Click image for larger version

No slang. There is an American pitbull terrier, a staffordshire terrier and an American bulldog. This I know.

I think bully is a slang for all, but not sure that.

Your blue is in a different class then the americans. We have a scott type american. Jury still out if he is going to make a dog or not. For me I like a good pit. I have heard of some people using a blue as a catch dog but the expense of a pure blooded one is out of reach for most people. Good looking dog.
