    Bow Shop in B/CS

Hey yall, my buddy who lives in CS is looking to get a new bow and I told him yall could point him in the right direction. His current bow is a PSE that is at least 20 yrs old. Also, if there is a specific person to help fit and set up a new bow that info would be great also. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick responses. I have passed this info on as it seems to be unanimous.

Got my first bow from there. Went in as a rookie for them to set me up with an MQ32. Hooked me up with a 29.5" draw. Problem is I have a 27.5" draw. They knew what they were doing. I have not trusted them since. Just my opinion.

He did the same thing with my son on the first new bow he ever owned. My DIL wanted to buy it for him for Christmas and I gave her a spec list, complete. Ordered the bow and it was 2 inches too long on the draw length. We compensated as much as possible and he finally sold it a couple of years later. That was in 2003 when she bought the bow.

I decided to give it another shot. I bought a Bowtech from him in 2007 and fitted it with a Limb Driver rest which he wasn't familiar with at the time and asked me to bring it by to let him check it out. I did and he blew me off, I left and won't ever set foot in his shop again. Unless something has changed he doesn't keep up with current products or does so on a very limited basis.

I know I have friends that sing his praises here but sorry fellas, I can't. I'll travel to order a bow.

I drive 90 miles to buy mine at Sullivans!

Even though I get my work done like tuning and strings at West Houston archery because I live close, every bow that I have bought for the past 15 years has come from Sullivan's.

                        He's good people.
