im gonna just say i am sorry for posting to quick after being teed off about having to wait longer for something i was so anxious to get takin care of so i can get my license. no it aint a big deal and no i am NOT a guy that flys off the handle i just have always been bad at not wanting to wait for something and it was just the way they said they knew a week ahead and didnt tell us till our appointment today. like i said no big deal and i will leave it like that so i dont fly off the handle lol just kidding

Dude i know your pain. I have been putting off getting a AR for years, decided that last xmas was the time its finally here. Well we were saving if for last after we got everything else. Guess what happened, yep back in the waiting game.

P.S. Been in your shoes and have you beat. My CHL took 6 months due to 3 clerical errors in Austin.

mine was 5 days out, 2 were sat/sun, and I bleep you not, scheduled at 8:40am, I get there right at 8:40am because of traffic, walk in, get directed to someone at a booth, he corrects the screwup in name that the website does all the time he said, pointed me to a room to the right, got fingerprinted, out the door, IN LESS THAN 4 MINUTES....they have their ducks in a row at 108 denson and that's fo sho!

Lol I didn't yell at her cause they are the only ones that can finger print now so they got me by the bal1s lol and I have heard 6 months that's why I'm trying to get it in as soon as possible

My buddy called around Dallas and was put on a 3 week wait for FP for his wife. I'm dang sure I would find someone to FP my wife before I had to wait for her to kill me then they have to find her and then FP her!!
It's a waiting game for sure.

My CHL took me 7 months after I sent in everything. They had me mixed up with some singer and some restroon arrest...

We're doing my wifes online app right now and she has the class Saturday.

I will say go to the website right after you get your bar code and go ahead and set up your finger prints now cause it will be at least 2 weeks. You can set up an appointment online

hell, yall should just make a little carpool a few miles out, you can get it scheduled sooner if you look around...might be a little drive but it's done and over with

Sometimes a local police department will do fingerprints for free.

The last department I worked for we always did fingerprints for people.
