    At A Loss For Words

Well I'm going to try to do this through the tears, slowness of breath, and over all overwhelming feeling of emotions.

I was just visited by a member of TBH that lives in Temple, Tx. That's 71 miles from my driveway....This lady brought my family enough food to last a month, a present for my kids, and a gift for my wife. All I can say is that DeadeyeDeb is surely one of God's angels. I can never thank you enough Deb for what you've done tonight for my family.

My wife and I escaped to our bedroom and as I watched my wife cry as she opened her gift bag it made me realize how much my family means to me. When I say family I'm talking about the GS family and my immediate family.

It means more to me than words could ever express. I told my wife tonight that I was at a loss for words.....her response, "I think it's great that you're a part of a community that cares so much for one another."

We will definitely be at bownanza this year....I don't drink so I'm planning on being the designated driver for anyone that needs a ride. I can't offer much, but I can make sure that you don't get a DWI or get into a accident because you've been drinking.

Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for last night. Hopefully I get the opportunity to EARN a job with a TBH member and can be a long term employee that you're proud to have working for you.

When I was in Iraq the main way that I dealt with being there was a battle buddy of mine that used to say:

"One foot in front of the other, one minute at a time, and one day at a time will get us out of here safely."

I'm doing my best to live by these words. I'm doing better today, but I have to realize that I'm not out of the woods just yet.
