Duck hunting in the fog?

I'm new to the duck hunting scene. This is my first season to really get out and hunt them. My question is, based on your experience, how does fog affect the ducks, if at all? Thanks.

Fog is no bueno for ducks-

It's a pain in the rear, you see them late and hard to shoot, also don't think they move as early

Fog sucks!!! Ducks don't like to fly in the fog but when they do it's late. Although I have had a couple unbelievable duck hunts in the fog.

If you know its foggy spread out your spread and add more white to it.

Keep em low if they get up at all.

Depends on how thick the fog is.

White in your decoys and wait it out. Usually most will head in. If u can hold out sometimes you'll have really good luck

If its foggy I dont even leave the ramp until Ive had a few glsses of coffee and try to get my spread on the water about the time the airboats are packing in for the day.

I like the fog to an extent, had some great hunts with foggy conditions. Keeps the birds low, but does add to the need for quick shots at times.

Update: thick fog, birds coming in hot, but coming in. Having good luck. ��

I've had some real good hunts right as the fog starts breaking up.

I love fog to an extent. Too heavy is bad. But just enough brings the ducks lower on you
