    Mathews Z7 question...

I know Mathews made several different versions of the Z7. What I don't know is what all of the versions are and what the differences are. I know there is supposedly a Z7, a Z7 Magnum, a Z7 Extreme. Are there others and what is the difference in each one. The website only shows the Z7 Magnum right now if I remember correctly... I am 6'2" and shoot 29-1/2 inch draw using a string loop so I am just wanting to know which I might be happiest with as I am looking to buy a lightly used model soon. Thanks!

You'll like a magnum or regular based on your draw. Call RBO or c and s and they will tell you the difference

I love my z7 extreme. Its more of a compact version of the z7.

So far it sounds like there are at least 3 if not more different ones. For some reason there seem to be more of the Z7 Extremes for resale in the classifieds than any other, I wonder why if they are so well liked? I will check with the pro shops as well.

Z7 extreme is the short off the 3. It has a little less control and recoil/shock to it than the other 2. I have a 2010 regular z7. I do not think they make them anymore. I get asked to sell it every time I go to the pro shop. I think people like the weight and forgiveness of the original z7.

I'm 6'4" I like my z7x because Im always sitting when I shoot and its so short when I'm shooting down out of a tree the limbs are not in the way where as my old bow the limbs would hit my leg if I didn't pay attention.. I've never shot the other ones so they may clear well enough also..
