bow accident

Shooting my new arrows this afternoon. I shoot the 8th arrow and the cams lock on me while at full draw. The cams won't relaease and the bow string is loose. I look at the cams sure enough a small cam is angled weirdly. I go to look at the other cam and the string snaps. Keep in mind the bow has been stuck at full draw for about 10 mins. The limbs release and smack me above the eye and forhead. 50 stitches later I am home. In pain and can't sleep.

Wow...sorry to hear that! What bow was it? And were you using a release or shooting fingers?

Wow!!!! That could've been REALLY bad !! Glad it's just a temporary pain an not lost vision or anything

I've had limbs break a couple of times..scary. Sorry to hear about injuries. On the bright side it didn't happen at full draw on buck of a lifetime. I hope you heal fast & don't develop any new flinch when you shoot
