Rockets are up 36-33. Can they keep it going? They look pretty good right now.

Oh well we are 22 - 1 over the last 23...
This is why the experts said we could not win the NBA title, we have no big man presence. Garnett and those boys had their way with us in the 2nd half. The boys in red just ran out of steam.
I hate to question Adelman, because to be first in the Western Conference you obviously have been doing some things right, but I think he waited to long into the 3rd quarter to bring in the reserves. T-Mac was dead last night, Battier was busy chasing Paul Pierce around, and Rafer was not hitting his shot.
As soon as Boston made that little run he should have brought in Mike Harris and Bobby Jackson, both those guys bring instant high energy. We need to get Carl Landry back, that cannot happen soon enough.
It was great while it happened, and I am glad we are in the record books now, but it is over and time to rally the troops. These next 3 ARE HUGE. It is time for Adelman to earn his money, get the guys focused again and start another winning streak.

A) Wasn't it a couple of Mavs that started the "greasy mullet" fad in the NBA?; and
B) The hard foul by Scola wasn't even in the same "class" as the body slam by one aforementioned greasy mullet Mavs on AK a few weeks ago. Scola's foul probably shouldn't have been a flagrant, and certainly won't draw a suspension.
It was a tough game for the good guys last night, but it had to end sometime. I have to say I'm really impressed by the Celtics. I had figured their record was inflated because they play in the East (and I'm sure it is), but Garnett and Pierce are tough to stop, and the addition of Cassell only makes them stronger. Throw in a healthy Ray Allen, and they will surely represent the East in the finals. While the West is much stronger than the East, right now I'd be hard pressed to bet against the Celtics to win it all. Winning in S.A. and then Houston in a back to back isn't an easy task.

B) Having watched them both as they happened, I couldn't disagree more. Scola had the guys arm, and there was no way he was getting anything at the rim.........and then Scola leaned back and slammed the guy to the floor! A few weeks ago when our greasy mullet dumped the "praying mantis-like" Kirelenko (sp), his arms were still in such a posistion to get a shot at the rim until Dirk pulled him down. It's too bad all he had a hold of was neck, and the dude was at such an awkward angle though (still not worthy of a suspension).
But I wouldn't expect a Rockets fan to see it for what it was.
Side note: I really hope that Rockets team can make a run into the playoffs, because it certainly isn't going to happen from the north end of 45......and I'm flat out tired of watching that spurs brand of ball. (Yes I know it works spurs fans, but that doesn't make it worth a crap to watch) Does Houston have any key players hurt besides Yao?

Maybe I am wrong on the hard foul, but it looked on the NUMEROUS replays they showed last night T-Mac was the one who whacked Allen. Scola was just there, I did not think it was nearly as flagrant as the Dirk vs. AK - 47 foul!!!
But Dale you know this as much as anyone, sometimes you gotta knock the guys down in the paint. The Rockets have no big man past Deke, and he is 127 years old, so we have to make these guys work for points in the paint.
