Well for the first time in 18 years I will be having tag soup. I did not harvest a deer this season. With two misses on good buck and one bad hit on a doe I blanked out. I was able to put my dog Bella on the blood trail from the doe. Tracked it of 500 yards before she jumped her. We backed out and got back on the track 4 hours later to jump her again after 200 of blood then she jumped a fence on a place I did not have permission to cross. I could have taken a few deer at the begining of the season but I was to picky. Lesson learned. Do not pass on a deer at the first of the season that you will be happy to take at the end of the season. Anyone still hunting down south that wants to harvest a doe for me I will pay for the prossesing. Thanks

No matter how you cook it, it still SUCKS! I broke the ice but cheated with a boom stick. Got 3 weeks left but will only be home for 5 days of it so I'm gonna try and shoot my first buck with a bow.

I have found that the combination of TN tags and TX tags are not bad when served cold! It fuels the anger!
