Heard about it a few months ago. El nino/La nina ocean currents are changing up Spose to effect the jet stream. Guess that lets cool air from the NW make it down thisa way to mix with warm gulf air. Looks like we been seeing it for awhile now in AR and NE Texas. Even southern portions of E Texas have gotten better rain fall compaired to 2010/11. Hay crops where deffently better in our area this year!!!! Lots of acorns in the deer woods. Loosing a lit of oak to a blight of some kind hear and pine bores are bad.

Just in case yall wanted to know the lawn guys weather report.

Hate to burst anyones bubble but if you go to the NOAA website it shows below average rainfall through the spring. Equal chances of rain or normal conditions through the spring of 2014.

What is "normal" rainfall these days? None?

Based on the large amount of huge 5.5 year old bucks on my lease, I'm expected a record drought.
