If a tree falls on your feeder

and no one is around, does is still make a sound?

I haven't been to my lease since just before Christmas, but went out yesterday to piddle and found this. The barrel is still in tact for the most part and salvageable, but one of the legs is a goner. Not as bad as it could have been, but definitely not what I wanted to see.

A few years ago, we had a major wind storm. Had a big live oak limb fall on my Double Bull blind and tore it up. Glad I wasn't siting in it.

Dang. Almost happened to me last year. Half top of the tree fell, just right next to the feeder.

None of the cedars or mesquites are tall enough to fall on our feeders!

Yep and it was brand new, never sat in.

My game cam was on a tree that fell in high wind, the roots were mostly rotted. Luckily it didn't spin it fell straight to the side and didn't break the camera. It took 5k pictures of branches moving day and night. The tree next to it fell and missed it also. This drought is tough on the trees. I have 30 trees that are needing to be pilled just around my blind on about 10 acres of shooting area.
