I'm not saying anyone is wrong, but I'll throw this out there... I have mounted a LOT of these, and have guided on a LOT of these. The longest straight-line measurement I have ever had my hands on was 25.5 on one side and 26.5 on the other. IMO this one is no where near the 26-27" guesses I am seeing. I hope my guess is wrong and he measures 24" (I think I was wrong once ). He will not go 26 or 27. But he IS a STUD blackbuck for sure!

Ive handled maybe 6 blackbucks in my life. From my experience the measurement from curl to curl runs an average of 5" straight. This stud has 4 full curls and a little past the 5th curl. You look at junkmanhunters 22" and figure 5" straight curl to curl and add the 2" past the 4th curl and you get 22". I may be wrong at guessing 27" straight but he is around the 26+ IMO. I say shoot him with a bow or gun and no camera next time! Love to see what he truly measures.

I had him at 17 yards Saturday at full draw when the wind shifted and he became alert. I had to let him go. I will be back in a couple of weeks. This guy has been extremely hard to hunt. This is the third time I had seen him all hunting season.
